Terms & Conditions, Cancellation & Refund Policy

Before using the which is operated by UK Selt Tests website please read these terms of Service ("Terms, "Terms of Service").


By using our service and having access to the service you have accepted, agreed and bound by these terms. If you disagree with any part of the term then you may not access the service.


If you choose to purchase any product or service through the service ("Purchase"), you will be requested to provide certain information relating to your purchase including, without limitation you debit card number, credit card number, the expiration date of your debit or credit card and your billing address.  

You represent and warrant that: (i) you have the legal right to use any credit card(s) or payment method(s) in connection with any purchase: and that (ii) the information you have supplied is true, complete and accurate. You also expressly agree that UK SELT TEST is not responsible or liable for any damage or loss arising from the submission of false and inaccurate information.

By submitting such information, you grant us the right to provide the information to third parties for purposes of facilitating the completion of Purchases.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse your purchase at any time for certain reasons including but not limited to a product or service availability, errors in the description or price of the product of service, error in your order or other reasons. You expressly agree that UK Visa Tests cannot accept any liability for loss or damage arising out of such cancellation.


  • Complete the application form.

  • Ensure all the information and details provided are correct, complete and accurate.

  • Information provided about your identify must match the identity document you bring on the day of the SELT test. Failure you to do so will result in you or the person who is booked for taking the test not being allowed to take the test.

  • Once you have clicked the Pay Now button and have made payment, we will review the information and process a booking on your behalf. 

  • We will endeavor to book the test on the date you have requested, should the date not be available we will get in contact to arrange another date or offer a full refund


On the day of the test, you will be required to bring one of the following ID's:

Valid Passport, EEA/EU or Swiss National ID Cards, Valid Biometric Residence Permit, Travel Document issued by the United Nations or the Ref Cross or Valid vignette attached to an Immigration Status Document or a GV3 Document.

The details should match with details you supplied during the booking process. 


On the day of the test you  will be informed if you have passed or failed. If you pass the test you will 

receive a certificate by post. 

Amending your test dates:

  • If you request to change your test date 1 day before you exam date, we will charge £100

  • You cannot request to reschedule you test on the day of the test


Upon making a booking, a non-refundable administrative fee of £25 GBP shall be deducted from any potential refund in the event of a cancellation. Additional charges may be applicable if the booking is canceled within a specified short time frame, as outlined in the subsequent section. The remaining balance will be processed in accordance with the terms below.

If you cancel your exam within 3 days of the test taking place you will NOT be refunded.

If you cancel your exam more than 4 days before your test is due you will be charged £100

If you fail to attend your schedule test you will NOT be refunded.

Bank Chargeback and Booking Cancellation

If a bank chargeback is initiated by the customer, please be aware that it will automatically result in the cancellation of your booking, effective from the next working day. Even in the case of a bank chargeback, the terms and conditions governing cancellations, as outlined in cancellation section above, will continue to apply.

This includes any applicable fees, charges, or penalties associated with the cancellation. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate with you regarding the cancellation due to a bank chargeback, and we encourage you to contact our customer support team if you believe the chargeback was initiated in error.

Resolving the chargeback dispute in your favour may result in the possible reinstatement of your booking, subject to our discretion. By making a booking on our platform, you signify your agreement with these terms regarding bank chargebacks and their impact on booking cancellations.


We will refund any money using the same method you used to make payment.


We are an independent provider of a booking service for Secure English Language Tests (SELT). We are not in any way affiliated or connected with IELTS SELT Consortium (IELTS for UKVI), Trinity College London (Trinity), Pearson (PTE Academic UKVI or PTE Home), PSI Services (Skills for English UKVI), LanguageCert (LanguageCert International ESOL SELT).

We are not authorised by Trinity, IELTS SELT, LanguageCert, Pearson & PSI Services as a listed SELT course provider.


Prices displayed on this website are independently determined by us and vary from the fees charged by Trinity, IELTS SELT, LanguageCert, Pearson & PSI Services  and other listed SELT course providers.

Candidates have the option of booking a SELT directly through Trinity, IELTS SELT, LanguageCert, Pearson & PSI Services or its authorised listed SELT course providers which can be found on Which is the Official UK Government website. 

The test centers on our website are operated by Trinity College London, we "UK SELT Test" do NOT have any affiliation with these centers.

Consumer and cancellation rights

You have a statutory right to cancel a Contract within a period of 14 days after the day on which the Contract is entered into (Cooling-Off Period) without giving any reason subject to our right to retain a reasonable portion of the Entry Fee to reflect the work undertaken by us up to the point of cancellation (please see our refunds policy below).

We extend the right to cancel to all bookings of SELTs, whether or not the cancellation is made within or outside the Cooling-Off Period, subject to our terms below.

To cancel a Contract, you must clearly inform us of your decision to cancel the Contract by emailing us on the email address displayed on this site.

Nothing in this section affects your legal rights.

If, due to the time period between booking your SELT and taking the SELT, you are due to take the SELT before the expiry of the Cooling-Off Period, then you expressly request that we begin the supply of services (i.e. the provision of the SELT) before the end of the Cooling-Off Period.

Our refunds policy

If you cancel your Entry, we will reimburse payments received from you, subject to our statutory right to retain a portion of the Entry Fee to cover our reasonable costs as follows:

  • If you cancel your exam more than 3 Office Days before the exam is due to take place, we will charge 50% of the Entry Fee;

  • If you cancel your exam within 3 Office Days of the exam taking place, we will charge 100% of the Entry Fee.

An Office Day means Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm GMT and Saturday 9:00am - 4:00pm GMT and excludes public holidays in England.

If you cancel and reschedule your SELT (the same exam as previously booked ) on the same day as your cancellation then we will not charge you the reasonable costs incurred as a result of your cancellation and we will charge you a reduced Entry Fee to re-schedule your SELT ( Re-Entry Rate ) as follows:

  • If you re-schedule a SELT that is scheduled to take place more than 3 Office Days after your cancellation, we will charge a Re-Entry Fee of £60 ;

  • If you re-schedule a SELT that is scheduled to take place within 3 Office Days of your cancellation, we will charge a Re-Entry Fee of £60.

It is not possible to re-schedule your SELT or make any changes to your personal details after 9am on the Office Day before the SELT.

If you book a different SELT or if, on a different day than the day of your cancellation, you re-schedule the same SELT, you will not be entitled to benefit from the Re-Entry Rates above and will be charged the full Entry Fee.

We will process any refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, not later than 21 days after the day on which we were informed about your decision to cancel the Contract.


We will refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for Entry, unless agreed otherwise.
